Namco Bandai Games announce free to play online console multiplayer Gundam game

Namco Bandai Games have announced they will be releasing a free to play online multiplayer game titled Gundam: Battle Operation for the Playstation 3 in Japan.

The game will see four to six players joining forces as part of the Federation or Zeon Alliance to take on other players both as a mobile suit or even on foot and in vehicles. This could be to attack the enemy or even make repairs to your mobile suit.

The game allow players the ability to customise and upgrade mobile suits and weapons that can be used following the completion of a battle. Games can also be created with certain specifications in mind such as the level or playing ability of players, the type of map and more than likely what you would generally expect in an online game of this nature.

Check out the video below for a great preview on what to expect from the game

The game is set for release in Japan in June exclusively as a downloadable game from the Japanese version of the Playstation Network. It is currently unknown if there will be English language version released but there are ways to allow your console to access the Japanese Playstation Network, it just requires a bit of research.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the game we suggest heading over to the Japanese video game specialist website Andriasang to view all the current details about the game HERE.

We’ll be sure to keep you up to date on this in the coming months.
