The MCM Manchester Expo is this weekend and it promises to be another busy Saturday packed with bargains and interesting content for those attending. MCM Expo have published the entire show guide that can be viewed HERE.
From an anime goers perspective there a few notes to make mention of. There will be a few panels, the chance to meet Vic Mignogna and the Manga UK stand will also have special DVD and Blu-Ray deals. With that in mind here’s the info you need to know –
Coming to the UK in October 2012
Since the announcement there would be a Dragon Ball Z game for use with the Kinect on Xbox 360 there has been a lot of talk how the concept will work and how the user will have to conduct themselves during gameplay. New information has come to light on this the fact that players will be able to “Perform 100+ different DBZ moves, including long range blast attacks (Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, Special Beam Cannon) and close range melee attacks (Jab, Uppercut, Hook, Charge Ki, Guard, Kick)” during gameplay.
To emphasise this fact Namco Bandai Games have released a trailer that gives you an idea as to how you will appear when performing a variety of these moves.
Following the announcement that Namco Bandai Games will distributing the (already very popular in Japan) One Piece: Pirate Warriors game in Europe later this year, we have been treated to the first English based trailer for this Playstation 3 exclusive title.
You can read our previous news item about the game HERE.
An interesting note about the trailer is that the original Japanese voice cast is used. The fact they are present in this trailer has already led to speculation these voices will accompany the characters in the North American & European versions of the game. Namco Bandai Games have previously included both the English and Japanese voice casts in their Naruto franchise games including the recent ‘Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations’. Including an English voice cast, in this instance used in the Funimation dub of the series as oppose to Viz Media (who handle Naruto), may not be out of the realm of possibility. However it should be stressed that there is no confirmation this will be case at this early stage. No doubt we will find out for certain in due course.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors is set for release in Europe in November 2012.
